DESCRIPTION:Since 2011 My Hometown Heroes has awarded over $400\,000 in scholarships to college-bound cancers survivors. \nJoin us on Wednesday\, September 30\, 2026 for our 8th annual Heroes Night Out celebration. Your Heroes Night Out experience includes an evening of delicious eats with your event passport with incredible catering by Cherry Bomb Catering\, Sushi Pier\, Fig Tree Catering and Daddy's Tacos to name a few. \nNetwork among community leaders with a blend of vibrant music\, opportunities to make scholarship dreams come true\, an array of silent auction prizes\, and inspiring speakers. \nAS AN ADDED BONUS your Heroes Night Out wristband grants you access to the Dragon Lights Reno lantern festival! \nFrom 7:00pm to 7:30pm\, you won't want to miss a very special presentation of our scholarship recipients\, supporters\, as well as a heartfelt speech from our soon to be announced honorary scholarship recipient as they share their journey from cancer to college.
