Biggest take-away(s) from your cancer experience:
Growth and strength do not always come in the ways you may desire or expect, but God ultimately has a plan in his hands for our lives. No one prepares for cancer, no one longs for the diagnosis of cancer, but that does not mean it does not serve a purpose. With the correct perspective, cancer changes us for the better through the many lessons learned throughout the journey with cancer.

Words to live by:
I once heard a quote: “Life is 10% of what happens to us and 90% of how we react toit.” It is a true testament to the uncertainty of life we all face. Our attitude and perspective will either make us miserable or we can search and find the blessings and the lessons in our trials.
