WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF 5 YEARS AND 10 YEARS AFTER COLLEGE GRADUATION:
After 5 years, I see myself perusing a medical degree from an established and accredited medical school. After 10 years, I hope to see myself completing my residency requirement in order to get my dream job of working at my treating hospital.

TOP 3 LIFE GOALS and HOW WILL YOU ACHIEVE THEM:
1. Spread a message of hope to those impacted by cancer. Not only did I beat cancer once, I DID IT TWICE. I love interacting with families with loved ones impacted with cancer. I would laugh and cry with them and show that through resiliency and faith, miracles can and will happen.

2. To save a life. There’s not a day that goes by that I wonder why I lived through cancer and a boy the same age as me in the next room died of a similar diagnoses. As I learn what it takes to become a doctor, I hope to use similar tactics my doctors used on me so that no innocent child has to die at the hands of the “c” word.

3. Work at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH (treating hospital) as a hematologist. I am building a relationship with current NCH doctors and nurses to gain an insider’s edge into what it takes to work there.

BIGGEST TAKE-AWAY(S) FROM YOUR CANCER EXPERIENCE:
With a positive mindset, perseverance, and God’s grace, nothing is impossible.
